Excel mock tests

Employer Excel tests come in three shapes. Practise each one under real conditions: timed, no hints, nothing marked until you submit. Then see a score for each skill, why each answer works and the lesson that fixes each gap.

Your test readiness

Take a test to see where you stand.

The average of your best score in each of the 5 tests (0 taken). Tests you haven't taken count as 0.

Next: Excel screening quiz

Quick screen

Multiple-choice questions against the clock, like the 5 to 10 minute Excel screens many employers send first.

Hands-on test

Real tasks in a live spreadsheet, like the 25 to 35 minute simulated-Excel tests used for office and analyst roles.

Case study

One business scenario and its workbook. You finish the report the way an analyst would on the job.

Which test should I take first?

Start with the free screening quiz to warm up, then the free basic hands-on test. If a skill comes up short, the results link straight to the lesson that teaches it. Retake a test a few days later, then move up a level. Aim to pass with time to spare: real tests feel faster than practice.

New to Excel?

Start with the course and come back when you know SUM, IF and COUNTIF. The first lesson takes about 5 minutes and needs no signup.
