eSkill Excel test practice
eSkill tests Excel with a browser-based simulation of Excel rather than multiple-choice questions. Tasks include navigating the interface, writing formulas, and formatting or changing data. The best practice is timed, hands-on tasks in a spreadsheet, without hints.
ExcelReady is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by eSkill. We don't have their questions. Our practice tests use the same format and skills, so you can prepare for whichever version you get.

- eSkill describes its Excel test as a browser-based simulation (HTML5) of Excel, not a multiple-choice quiz.
- Tasks cover navigating the interface, creating formulas and formatting or manipulating data.

Tips for the day
- Get comfortable with the ribbon: simulations may not support every shortcut.
- Finish every task you can, even partly. Some simulations give credit per step.
Questions people ask
Is the eSkill Excel test a real version of Excel?
No, eSkill describes it as a simulation of Excel that runs in your browser. It looks and works like Excel, but not every feature or shortcut may be there.
How do I practise for an Excel simulation?
Do timed, hands-on tasks in a spreadsheet with no hints. ExcelReady's basic hands-on test is free and marks your answers at the end, like a real test.
